We collect as little as we can. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

Who we are
Mizuki (shopmizuki.com) is an independent Canadian skincare guide. For privacy questions, email [email protected].
What we collect
- Newsletter sign-ups. If you subscribe, we collect your email address and, if you used the routine quiz, the skin type and concerns you chose, so we can send relevant emails. Newsletter sign-ups are not open yet; nothing you type into the form is sent anywhere until they are.
- Routine quiz. Your quiz answers are processed in your browser to build your routine. They are not sent to us unless you choose to subscribe.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful. It uses cookies and collects information such as pages visited, approximate location and device type. We have IP anonymisation enabled.
- Emails you send us. If you contact us, we keep your message and email address to reply.
Affiliate links and retailer cookies
When you click a retailer link, you leave Mizuki. The retailer, or its affiliate network, may set cookies to record that you came from us. Their own privacy policies apply. We don't receive your name, address or payment details from retailers. See our affiliate disclosure.
How we use information
Only to send the newsletter you asked for, improve the site, and reply to messages. We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it except with the service providers that help us run the site.
Your choices
- Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.
- You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected].
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Where information is stored
Our hosting and email providers may store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of the page.
