Korean skincare Black Friday in Canada (2026 guide)

Black Friday is when a lot of us stock up on cleansers, toners and the serum we’ve been running low on since summer. It’s also when “up to 60% off” banners are least informative. This guide does two things. It records what each shop selling K-beauty to Canada actually offered in 2025, using the shops’ own pages, and it gives you the normal October 2026 price for each product we track, so you can tell a real deal from a relabelled everyday price.

The 2026 dates (expected, not confirmed)

Black Friday is Friday 27 November 2026 and Cyber Monday is Monday 30 November. Those dates are fixed. The sale windows around them aren’t. As of 6 October 2026 no retailer we track had announced its 2026 dates, so the windows below are our estimate from what each shop did in 2025. We’ll update this page when the shops announce theirs.

What each shop offered in 2025

We checked each retailer’s own pages: current help or event pages where they still exist, and archived copies of their homepages from the Internet Archive where they don’t. Every row says which page and the date it shows. We checked all sources on 6 October 2026.

Two things to keep in mind when reading this table:

• “Up to” means some items, not all. A 50% banner usually covers a few discontinued or overstocked products. The products you came for may be 10% off or full price.
• Coupon minimums are in US dollars at YesStyle and Olive Young. Once converted to Canadian dollars, each tier needs a bigger basket than the number suggests.

Some Black Friday deals weren’t bigger than a normal week

We compared the 2025 Black Friday offers with what the same shops were showing on 6 October 2026, an ordinary week with no holiday event:

• YesStyle’s tiered Black Friday coupon matched its mid-season one. In October 2026 its homepage offered code MIDS26 at 8%, 10% and 15% off, the same three steps as YSBF25. The 2025 offer worth waiting for was the second one, 2025BF: 15% off any order with no minimum, from 27 November to 1 December.
• Stylevana’s Black Friday code was smaller than its current one. On 27 November 2025 the Canadian homepage offered “extra up to 18% off”. On 6 October 2026 it offered “extra up to 20% off” (code SVVASS). Stylevana almost always has a sitewide code running, so check it before waiting for November.
• KBeauty Canada’s brand markdowns are already as deep. Its October 2026 homepage showed COSRX up to 50% off, more than the “up to 40%” it showed in mid-November 2025.

That doesn’t mean Black Friday is pointless. YesStyle’s no-minimum 15% was better than its usual tiered coupon, and Olive Young’s 35% coupon was its biggest. But Olive Young also titles other events around a 35% coupon, such as its Fall Sale and OMG Coupon Day. The only reliable test is the price.

The prices a real deal has to beat

This is the lowest in-stock price we found for each product in October 2026, before any Black Friday sale, with the store and the date we checked. If a Black Friday price, after the coupon, isn’t lower than the first column, you could have paid that price in October.

We’ll publish the November 2026 Price Index after the sales. It will show which products actually dropped below their October price, and at which stores.

A three-product basket, priced before the sales

Single prices hide shipping. This basket, a toner, a hydrating serum and a moisturizer for winter, is what a lot of people restock in November. Here’s what it cost in October at each store that had all three in stock:

In October, every store that had the full basket shipped from Canada. To see whether a Black Friday percentage makes a store cheaper than another’s normal price, apply it to that store’s total above, then check it still clears the store’s free-shipping minimum.

How to shop the sales without overpaying

1. Write down the October price first. Use the table above, or the full Price Index for products not listed here.
2. Compare after the coupon and shipping, not before. A 15% code on a store that’s normally 20% more expensive still loses. Our retailer guide shows how much more each store typically charges.
3. Watch the coupon currency. YesStyle and Olive Young set minimums in US dollars.
4. Mind the exclusions. Olive Young’s 2025 coupon excluded Beauty of Joseon, and YesStyle said some products were ineligible.
5. Allow time for overseas orders. Stylevana, YesStyle and Olive Young Global ship from Asia, and parcels can be charged GST/HST and a handling fee at the border. Canadian shops charge tax at checkout instead.
6. Skip “deals” on sunscreen. Many Korean sunscreens can’t legally be sold in Canada because they don’t have a DIN or NPN. We explain why on our sunscreen hub and don’t link to them.

How the retailers compare on a normal day

Black Friday discounts sit on top of each store’s usual price level, so a store that’s normally 20% more expensive needs a 20% coupon just to break even. This table is from the October 2026 Price Index:

How we checked

The 2025 offers come from each retailer’s own pages: YesStyle’s help-centre coupon terms, Olive Young’s event page, Amazon’s Canadian newsroom, and archived copies of retailer homepages saved by the Internet Archive near Black Friday 2025. Sephora Canada’s dates come from a Canadian sales-listing site because we couldn’t load Sephora’s own event page. We checked every source on 6 October 2026. Where we couldn’t find a reliable record for a shop, we said so rather than guessing.

The October prices come from our Price Index, checked on 5–6 October 2026. The tables update automatically with each new month’s index.
